We are preparing a Revised Neighbourhood Plan for Mid-Cherwell. The consultation draft of the MCNP 2040 has been produced to get your feedback on our draft policies to guide development in the Mid-Cherwell area. The easiest way to provide your comments is by using these online pages.
The Mid-Cherwell Neighbourhood Plan (MCNP) provides locally-specific policies to supplement those in Cherwell’s Local Plan and national planning policy. Where these already deal with an issue in a positive way, the MCNP does not also need to address it unless there is a clearly-evidenced local need for a different policy. Before you make your comments on a Policy, please read through it and its Rationale (which provides the background and evidence; there may also be a link to an Appendix, which will give more detail).
THE PERIOD FOR COMMENT SUBMISSION IS NOW CLOSED.
Thanks to everyone who submitted comments, attended engagement meetings, or made contact with us during the consultation period. In the coming weeks, all comments will be given careful consideration and the Forum’s review team will make amendments to the draft Plan, taking many of your views into account. A further version of the Plan will be formally submitted to Cherwell District Council in due course. If you are on our mailing list, we will update you on progress from time to time.
The consultation closed at 23.59 on Friday, 23rd February 2024. We can not guarantee that submissions made after this time will be considered.
